Join The School at Matt's Music and become a part of a thriving, supportive musical community! We believe that no one is too old, too young, or too experienced to learn something new!  The School is led by top educators such as Adam Levine and Dorian Michael!

If you are interested in taking lessons, be sure to stop by the store or call us at 237-0054.   We will help you determine which class is best suited to your needs and goals.

"Teachers open the door,
but you must enter by yourself."

GROUP LESSONS are a fun way to improve one's musicianship and meet like minded new people along the way.  Most of our classes are taken in an 8 week series and we have different groups for different levels of playing.   The cost for an 8 week series is $220 (or $195 if enrolled 2 weeks early.)  For most classes, tuition includes music, handouts, and a play-along CD.  All classes last 60 minutes and take place at Matt's Music, Stage & School.  Although most classes usually have 6-8 students in attendance, they are limited to 10.

"In the dojo, we “enter by form” when we diligently learn all the rules of music – theory, scales, harmony, technique, and so on.  We “exit from form” when, having internalized the rules, we throw them all out and just play."

Payment in full signs you up and secures your spot in the class.  Since there are no official make up classes offered for missed classes,  be sure that your calendar jives with your class schedule.
Save $25!
Take advantage of our Early Enrollment Price of $195 when signing up 2 weeks early.  Call us for the early enrollment cut off time for our upcoming term.

WHEN SHOULD I START?
We recommend that children start formal lessons after they already know how to read (ages 7-8)
At age 9, they are old enough to join our youth group lessons.
If you are between the age of 7 and 107,
start taking lessons NOW!

We also have PRIVATE LESSONS! Private lessons are great for advanced students who are ready to specialize in a particular style or have special instructional requests.  Private lessons are also great for folks who have challenging schedules or unique learning needs.  All of our Piano lessons are done on a private basis.  We also recommend private lessons for most children ages 7-8.
